• We can and must cry out to the Lord at such times
• Remember that the Lord does care and is at work even when we do
  not see it or understand what He is doing

2. How to be happy when God's care doesn't seem to make sense

• Avoid having a narrow view of God as well as a works-righteousness
  mentality
• Turn to the attributes of God for stability and a sure foundation
• Remember that the proud and wicked will surely be destroyed in due time and that the just shall go on living by faith
• Be encouraged that someday the earth shall be filled with His glory
• Bow in humble reverence and submission to Him who is sovereign

3. How to be happy when God's care seems to have dried up

• Pray for God's mercy in the midst of difficulties
• Turn with eyes of faith to the Lord's future coming in glory
• Rejoice and find strength in the Lord, who is unchangeable and whose riches and resources will never run dry
