Flesh to Bones, A Mother's Love

Israel went from victory to being deceived by the Gibeonites. They failed to consult God. Israel made a covenant with them not to harm them. Years later Saul broke the covenant and killed them. God sent a famine. To appease the broken covenant 7 of Saul family were to be killed. Rizpah set watch over the bodies day and night to protect from animals. A mother's unconditional love. In John 19:23-27 there is another death to appease sin. Jesus dies for the sin commit in the garden. God's promise to Adam and Eve is finally accomplished. As his mother Mary bowed before Him, so must we.
