The Human Spirit

The human spirit plays a significant role in the quality of our lives. The Word of God speaks of the strength and weakness of one's spirit. Pastor spoke of the spirit of children. They don't need to be told that their ugly, dumb or stupid, or compared with any other. Children need to be told that there's nothing they cannot do, that they're beautiful, unique, able, and strong. As parents, we need to need to spend time investing in our children which will lead to a confident child. A teen can be impacted the greatest by peer pressure or other adults in their life. Adults can be wounded by several factors - troubled children, professional failures, broken relationships, and more. The question; however, is, how do we overcome a wounded spirit? Today's first-hour message not only defines the wounded spirit of a man, but Pastor Simpson invested a large portion of this morning's service to helping us know how to overcome our wounded spirit.
