Exodus 34 - Only God is God

God designed this second precept to teach the Hebrews, and us, that idolatry promotes the degradation of man through the worship of Satan, whose image we are adapted to due to our sin nature. Taken into our modern context and we see this played out today in the globalization movement - a movement designed to legitimize sin through the unity of idolatry like at the Ziggurat of Babel.
