Perpetual Priesthood

In Hebrews 7 we are given the teaching on Melchizedek which the writer alluded to in Hebrews 5. The main theme in the first section of the chapter is the perpetuity of Christ's Priesthood, being based on the power of his indestructible life. In the latter part of the chapter the writer tells us of the character of this One, whose once for all sacrifice is effective forever.
