The Bible - Its Production, Profitability and Purpose. 2 Timothy 3 16-17

It was not necessary for Paul to specify the books or parts of the Bible. The Church had inherited the Bible from the Jews, these were endorsed by the Lord. In the last 150 years or so scholars have been searching FOR the Scriptures, rather searching the Scriptures.
