But God Raised Him

The forces of evil and unbelief were powerfully raged against Jesus, the LORD's Messiah. The Jewish leadership managed to get Pilate, the Roman governor to sign off on Jesus' crucifixion. When he was taken down from the cross and buried the evil forces congratulated themselves. But to their chagrin, "God raised him from the dead." This resurrection secured the glorification of the Son and the salvation of his people, as well as their own resurrection from the dead at Christ's return.
