Momma's Love

Momma will love you — when no one else will.

Momma will stand up for you — when no one else will stand with you.

Momma will pray over you — when everyone else has forgotten you.

Momma will feed you — when everyone wants to either whoop you, beat you, cut you or kill you.

Momma will pick you up — when your enemies want to keep you down and out.

Momma will protect you even — when, deep down in her soul, she knows you can no longer be protected.

Mommas aren't perfect — but they'll keep on loving when we're far from it.

Mommas are the best at making everyday a holiday for the rest of us.

I cannot ever remember not having, or being around, loving, thoughtful, caring, practical, intentional, nurturing, smart, protective and sacrificial mommas. Starting with my mom, and my grandmothers, and my bride, and my mother-in-law, and all the moms and grandmothers I've pastored, to my sweet daughters and so many more. Honestly, all I've ever known and experienced was the best! Some call that being spoiled... call it what you may, but I prefer to look at it as being blessed, yes, richly blessed!

I wish all the precious moms in my life, and each mom that sees this, a beautimous day. Thank y'all for always blessing and taking such good care of this boy.
