The Lord forgives sin and blots it out. He reconciles us to Himself, and this produces the greatest peace and joy, whereby the Spirit glorifies Him in our behavior. We must look to this love, abide in Him, and never grow waery of feasting on Christ for asceticism, self righteousness, and human strength.
