Series The Life of David
105
"And the King went forth, and all the people after him, and tarried in a lace that was far off."
David's enforced exile from Jeruslaem on account of Absalom's rebellion brought him to four specific locations, each of which contained a spiritual experience for him.
First: Kidron, the place of humiliation.
Second: Olivet, the place of supplication.
Thirdly: Bahurim, the place of resignation.
Fourthly: Mahanaim, the place of consolation.
