Christ is All

In Colossians 2:9-10 we are informed of the fully Deity of Christ and that those who trust in Him are complete in Him, who is the head of all principally and power. These verses were very apposite for the opposing of the Gnostic heresy which had influence among the Colossian believers. There was no need for the supposed aeons, who supposedly revealed hidden knowledge, because the fulness of the Deity dwelled in Christ bodily. Hence, reminding them that Christ had a human body indwelth by the Deity and that He was above all principality and power. In other words, these supposed aeons, if they existed, which they didn't, were subject to Christ and He was, and is, the fount of all wisdom and knowledge.
