Assurance Of Understanding

Paul's desire for the Colossian Christians was that they be knit together in love unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding of the Mystery of God and of the Father and of Christ. In order for this to happen we need to hear sound teaching but, also, study the Word of God for ourselves. The more we see how it all makes sense will have the effect of making us strong in the Faith and able to bear witness to it and defend it. We need to use our minds to this end.
