WAR in Heaven!

Much of what happens behind closed doors has a tremendous impact on our world-- secret meetings, negotiations, contracts, and commitments. The same is true in the spiritual realm. In Revelation 12 we are privy to an event that occurs in heaven which has an tremendous impact on life here on earth. A war breaks out between Satan, God's adversary, and Michael the archangel and his army of good angels. Satan loses. As a result he is permanently banished from heaven. The "accuser of the brethren' is cast down. And while there is great celebration in heaven, there is great consternation on earth. For Satan is angry, and takes out his anger on mankind. The war in heaven results in hell on earth. Revelation 12 reminds us that we today are involved in an invisible spiritual war with the powers of darkness. Our adversary is looking for spiritual victims. So we need to be strong in the Lord and clothed with the armor God provides to be overcomes in our spiritual battles. Through Christ, we can be more than conquerors!
