Not by Might, Nor by Power but by My Spirit

Unless the Spirit of God awakens us we lack the ability to receive the Word. Zechariah would be awed at the sight of this lampstand. Light is a great symbol in Scripture.

The people were encouraged in the rebuilding of the Temple. Now we look at the lampstand as it refers to God's saving presence and also God's people.

God's presence gives light. It is a saving presence.

Every aspect of our life is controlled by God. Even as we see God, our Lord is still on the throne.
