   a. Fellowship trains us in bearing with one another (Rom 15:1-6).
   b Fellowship trains us to be self-sacrificing in our outlook (1 Cor 8:8-13).
   i. The little things that we hold onto our of NO eternal benefit. v8
   ii. Our insistence to maintain our right does damage to those who don't understand. v9.
   • Rights MUST be exercised with discretion.
   • Our actions are used to validate the behavior of others.
   • Our actions may work against sound doctrine.
   • When Our actions precipitate real choices in others.

iii. The damage done is real and material. v. 10
iv. Refusal to repent in this matter is sin. v 11
v. It is proper to limit our rights for the benefit of others. v 12-13
