The Hour and the Glory of God

Jesus announced that the hour of His dying on the cross had come. The whole purpose of His coming was this hour. His work on the cross was a judgment of this world system and the overthrow of the god of this world.
The principle of His work is found in verse 24. This principle is applied to His followers as well. Saving our life for this world is great folly. Giving up one's life for the world to come is great wisdom.
Sadly, many "believers" have no understanding about their place in God's purpose and, thus, unlike Jesus, fail to glorify God.
