Life In God's Family: Disciples Making Disciples

Who we follow determines where we end up.That’s why God has designed his family, the church, to be led by those who have a deep love for Jesus – devotion reflected in a life of integrity and faithfulness to Scripture. God calls elders to exhibit the kind of life that all believers are striving for “...you should set in order the things that are lacking and appoint elders....” (Titus 1:5 - NKJV) As he ministered to Christians on the island of Crete, Titus was to appoint godly men in every church who were examples of how the gospel produces godliness. These men were to have a firm grasp of biblical truth, so they could feed and protect God’s flock. This is still God’s design for His family today.
