Christ Before Pilate

Leading up to Christ's crucifixion the Jews had plotted and schemed very carefully no to defile the or implicate themselves. The Jews didn't want to defile the Passover in certain ways, proving that they didn't understand the true meaning of the Passover. Christ was the true fulfillment of the prophecy of old, redeeming us unto Himself. Praise the Lord that He sacrificed Himself for us His children.
