Summoned by God

During Isaiah's life, Judah was in a bad situation. When Israel said they didn't want the house of David they also said they didn't want Christ. Isaiah comes back and says God want you back. Your sins are forgiven. Judah would be like Sodom and Gomorah, but they were God's people. The Lord has reasoned with us during this past week of self examination. Our sins are like crimson, but now we are white as snow because of God's grace. God says we are forgiven. God would have destroyed Judah, but there was a remnant and He never forsakes His people. God is going to make us understand that we are a sinful people, but we have been saved by the blood of Christ. This is applicable to all of us. We have the calling to walk properly before God. This is considered as we celebrate the Lord's Supper.
