Holy Baptism

The sacraments are often considered the Means of Grace where by God achieves His Council. The preaching is the primary means and the sacraments are added to this to bolster us in our faith. The cross becomes signified in the sacraments. That which is worked by faith is confirmed by the sacraments. Baptism is vital, but it is not to be used of superstition. Baptism finds its root in the promise of God's covenant. We consider the deep meaning and proper application of Baptism to our lives.
