Arise!

We find in this text an analogy of sorts as we see Tabitha representative of the people of God and in some respects we see Peter as a type of Christ. Though, obviously a literal miracle, many applications and analogies can be drawn from this text that encourages God's people regarding the resurrection, the walk in the newness of life and arising to let our let so shine that others may give glory to God.
