Serving the Church as Christ Served the Church

Service for the Church of Christ is service for Christ Himself and for the friends of Christ. If service for the Church is Christ-like (He came as the suffering servant), then the Christian will want to serve; and in so doing he or she will display a growth in grace and love for God and his people.
