Fighting for Faithfulness

The inhabitants of Canaan were left by the Lord to test Israel. Would they be faithful to walk in his commandments or would they bow down to the gods of Canaan? Would they be willing to fight, to put their lives on the line for the truth? Would they be willing to live for the hope set before them or would they go for the immediate gratification that the culture around them offered? This process is still at work amongst God's people. He uses tests to see if we will fight for faithfulness.
