Exodus 14 Chapter 3:7-10
Through the Exodus account the Holy Spirit exhibits for us both the Temporal and Spiritual deliverance of God's people from the wrath of Pharaoh, and the evil taskmasters of sin's hard bondage.
By use of the Lawgiver, God's man Moses, a great type of the Lord Christ, God shows how Christ brings His people from sin's hard bondage, to regeneration, to justice, to dominion and finally to everlasting life.
Exodus also exhibits for us the faithfulness of God in all His Covenant promises. From under the tyrannical burden of Pharaoh, God shows Himself mighty by raising up a deliverer, declaring once and for all time, as an ambassador of the Great I AM, “Let My People Go.”
This lecture examines the sad reality of Israel's psychological bondage to slavery, even while on the threshold of their long awaited deliverance.
