FURTHER ENCOURAGEMENT TO HOLD FAST TO WISDOM: Part 1 POSITIVE REASONS
"I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, and when you run, you will not stumble. Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; Keep her, for she is your life." Proverbs 4:11-13
Proverbs 4 challenges and encourages believers to hold fast to the faith that was once for all delivered to the Saints. In these first verses above God the Holy Spirit reminds and encourages us to hold fast to Wisdom's ways. He makes His appeal on the basis of positive outcomes. Next time (Part 2), He continues making the same appeal, but on the basis of Negative Outcomes.
