A God of Action

God, we are told, is light. We, His church, are meant to spread the light. That light is the gospel. The message of the gospel, as it is proclaimed, is the only thing that secures people for eternity. We proclaim salvation; God is at work. Without the gospel, people are lost in their sins and will perish.
We learn in Revelation 1, that Christ's feet are like fine brass. The picture here is of purity and strength, a strength that is also used by God in judgement, as those feet tread the winepress of the wrath of God in the final harvest.
God is truly a God of action and movement, we too should be a people of action as we seek to advance the gospel in our day and generation. We read in Romans 10:15 "How beautiful are the feet of them that that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"
