Jesus' Compassion

An 8 minute glance at our Saviour's compassion and what it says to us. In these readings we see the heart of Jesus - his deep feeling for the vulnerable and lost. We see the heart of a shepherd - their is a special relationship between Jesus and those he feels for. This is the heart of God, not only looking for the Prodigal's return but searching for him. Notice the sense of urgency in Jesus' words - if the harvest is not brought in it will perish. He involves us in his compassion - 'pray to the Lord of the harvest to send workers'.
