The Call to Enter the Ark

Jehovah called Noah to enter the ark, as the Great Flood was now imminent. Jehovah's calling was consistent with His previous covenant promise to Noah, to save him and his family from a corrupt and violent world. Jehovah now saves both man and beast through this call, which carried a note of urgency. Noah obeyed God's call; thus God's call was proven to be effectual to Noah, because of God's favor to him.
