Died, Buried, Raised

*We had technical difficulties today, which resulted in a few minutes of the sermon having to be cut out.

I. The gospel again
*Paul makes known to the Corinthians what they had already heard and what they already knew. Therefore, the gospel is for believers, not just for unbelievers. We need to hear the gospel over and over again. We need to remember what Christ has done for us.

II. We are saved by the Gospel
*We are saved by Christ, by grace, through faith and by the Gospel.

III. If you hold fast the Word
*You are saved IF ... if you hold fast the Word. If you are not a temporary believer (Lk. 8:13), who falls away in time of temptation.

IV. The message of the Gospel
A. Christ died for our sins
B. Christ was buried
C. Christ was raised on the third day
