Education of God's Grace

The puritan, Thomas Taylor writes, "This doctrine of the gospel is a schoolmaster, and full of instruction." Again he writes, "Grace brings salvation to none but scholars in Christ's school;"... Addressed from Titus 2:12 is the education of God's saving grace. The first course of training is in self denial ("instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires"). One's profession of saving grace must be validated by the impact of its training upon real life.
