Joseph: Revelation is a Comforting Act

Joseph began his revelation to his brothers, saying, "be not grieved". The comfort of the forgiving gospel of Christ is threefold: it is full, free and forever. Jesus assumed all the sin of His people on Himself. Jesus forgave freely without condition to the sinner. And, His forgiveness is irreversible by man, angels or God who cannot change and cannot lie. Therein, is the comfort of revelation.
