An Expeditious Atonement for Sin

As you read the Old Testament you become very conscious of just how precise were the offerings of the Hebrew religion. But the net value of these offerings was absolutely zero! These sacrifices were not given to achieve justice, they were intended to point the priests and the people to the coming Lamb of God. God's holy justice demands perfection and is fulfilled only in the merit of Christ.
