Description of the event:
On Tuesday March 24, the Bloomington Reformed Presbyterian Church hosted public lecture entitled "Living with Cancer: A Christian Perspective on Understanding and Living with a Dreaded Disease." The talk was designed for a general audience and addressed the basic science behind cancer as well as personal reflections regarding coping with a diagnosis of cancer. The speaker is the senior pastor of the church, who is also a senior lecturer in the Department of Biology at Indiana University and a current leukemia sufferer.
