Christ, Our Sinless Savior

Although Christ took upon Himself the sin of man, He has no sin. "In Him..." (that is, in Christ), "there is no sin" (1 John 3:5). Here we see not only divine incarnation but also divine imputation. Christ took upon Himself, all the sinless weaknesses that were consequences of the fall - that is, all those infirmities of mind or body which subject man to suffering, and expose him to temptation. But He did not take our moral infirmities, our proneness to sin.
