Ministers of God in Affliction

This passage describes some of the severe trials that the Apostle Paul underwent for the sake of the gospel. One would think that with passages such as this in the Bible, anyone who preached that it is God's intention that all believers are to be wealthy and free of severe hardships in this life would be laughed out of the pulpit, tarred and feathered, and thrown in the back of his Mercedes.
