Salvation is a turning from sin and idols to serve the Living and True God. The Christian life is a denunciation of "the world" and learning to love God and serve Him in holiness. This message calls on God's people to put away the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life. Many applications are given and the church is called on to prepare themselves for a "burnt offering" in the evening.
