Calvin (cont) & William Tyndale & the Formation of the Church of England

Jon begins by completing our look at the life, teaching, preaching, and legacy of John Calvin. Then our historical focus moves to England and William Tyndale. Tyndale first translated the bible into english, in a time when possessing any version of the bible other than the Latin Vulgate was a crime. Finally, Jon sets the stage for the next lesson on the English Reformation by taking us through the events that caused England to break with Rome, and form the Church of England.
