John 25 - Jesus' Schedule Why Confused

These verses, minus 37-39, gives us the picture of confusion resulting from false doctrinal teachings. Unable to hear Christ's message because of their own beliefs, always the position of sin, the majority of people reject Him as Messiah. However, if they had read, understood and calculated the dates given by Daniel (chapter nine) they would have realized that Messiah would come t die in 33 A.D., just several months after this conversation. From top to bottom mistaken doctrinal beliefs held sway over their thinking except for those called of God to believe His truth.
