“Houston, we have a problem.” With this alarming statement, Commander James Lovell announced the onset of a life and death struggle that would play out over the next four days, as a crippled Apollo 13 spacecraft journeyed to the moon and back. Well, it is not too much to say in our day that we too have a problem. We are a people crippled by sin, engaged in a life and death struggle, on a sojourn through a world seemingly fleeing headlong away from the only one who can save us.
