Knowing Christ

In Philippians 3:4-11 Paul contrasts his former confidence in the flesh with his current and future confidence in Christ for his righteousness: (1) Paul once had confidence in the flesh (v.4) because of his birth (v.5), and because of his accomplishments (v.6); (2) and Paul now has confidence in Christ because his values have been overturned and because his salvation is grounded in Christ.
