He Is Risen!

Everyone likes good news. The gospel is “good news” because it means God has done something about the desperate condition of humanity. The most concise definition of the gospel is found in I Corinthians 15:1,3-4, which states "I declare unto you the gospel...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."

The three essential ingredients of the gospel are mentioned: the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

In the center of the Kingdom of God is an empty tomb. The resurrection of Christ is the fact from which all truth radiates. All doctrine, all experience, all truth is measured from that empty tomb.
