The Passion of Christ

What a glorious declaration is made in our text by the beloved apostle Paul; the latter portion of this verse is as splendid as the craftsmanship of God Almighty. The enlightened conscience here pays tribute to the Lord Jesus Christ who has presented Himself as a loving offering for the elect on the altar of God's justice; who has made Himself to be the sacrifice and surety of His chosen people. In these blessed words are seven circumstances that I want to expound this morning.
