Church Discipline and the Authority of Heaven

When the local church obeys her King in the exercise of restorative church discipline, the authority of heaven itself stands behind it, and Jesus promises the blessing of His abiding presence with the church. It is important for us to obey the Lord's commands in these matters for the glory of His name, the purity of His bride, and for the restoration of souls.
