Hardship, despair and doubting have become a distant memory as Christian and Hopeful come into the wonderful experience of Beulah. The King has prepared a place for travel-weary Christians, right at the end of their voyage where they can delight in the glorious prospect of coming home. Beulah is a wonderful place, a place from which they can see the Celestial City. The city shines with such beauty and glory that they find themselves feeling quite overpowered. They are driven to their knees, sickened with longing for that beauty. Here in Beulah, everything in life takes on proper perspective. True value can be seen. As they meander through the King's gardens, they eagerly anticipate the joys to come.
