God's New Covenant

God has made it plain that the covenant by which he relates to us is a covenant made with persistent covenant breakers. It is a covenant sealed with his own blood (so Paul calls it in Acts 20:28), that is the blood of his Son. Everything depends on Christ as our Covenant Head, and nothing must replace our trust in him in relating to God. Knowing this covenant actually creates faith in God, or knowing God. And it totally changes our view of life and relationships. There is nothing else like it anywhere.
