Strategy in Spiritual Warfare

"And take the helmet of salvation." --Eph. 6:17a

With this piece of armor Paul points the Lord's people to the mind...the understanding. In 1 Thessalonians 5:8 he refers to this helmet as "the hope of salvation"...final victory for the believer.

That leads us to see that he is ultimatly dealing in this little phrase with the two opposing strategies in spiritual warfare; not simply tactics, but strategy. This message deals with Satan's strategy and God's strategy and the role each plays in the believer's battle with the enemy.
