Radical Nonconformity—Worldliness

Bring up the term 'worldly' among a mixed group of Christians and you will have a lively debate on your hands. In fact, in many circumstances you will see worldliness display itself right before your eyes, even as it is being debated. The hard reality is that though most Christians will agree that they are commanded to not be conformed to this age/world, many of them have no idea what that means. Therefore they fight battles that don't need to be fought, all the while being flanked by the enemy on every side.

In this sermon Pastor Henry seeks to show what worldliness is. He shows that it is first a belief system, second an attitude, and third an external presence. He warns the listener to not too quickly jump to the third aspect too quickly, for many of the external expressions of worldliness are innocent in themselves but are used in a worldly manner.
