Head Covering, Cultural?

Intro
-In chapters 11-14 the apostle is dealing with 3 issues in public worship which people find offensive
-Head covering, the Lord's supper and the use of spiritual gifts

-Scripture should always be approached with an open mind

1 The Supposed Difficulties Of The Passage
-Most modern commentaries say that this passage is difficult but the Greek words used are plain
-They just don't want the plain meaning as this would go against feminism and so sell less books

2 The Difficulties Are Made Up By Humans as an Excuse For Their Disobedience
-One possible difficulty they create is the cultural argument

3 The Cultural Interpretation Is A False Interpretation
-Why?
-You with your human mind have to decide what is cultural and what isn't
-This is liberalism
-A view held by unbelievers

4 The True Interpretation
-GOD speaks to be understood
-He doesn't make things overly complicated
-Every word is inspired by the Spirit of GOD
-It is to the Church in all ages and cultures
