A true prayer isn't one that is superficial, one that tries to attract people's attentions and praises as hypocrites did in Jesus' day and some still doing today. A true prayer is one that is a heartfelt connection to God the Father, one that is private, where one gives their heart to Him with all sincerity and truth. Hypocrisy is one of the enemy's tools that deceives us into believing we are right with God. But being a hypocrite separates us from God and is revolting to Him.
