Through the Valley of Death

Psalm 23 is one of the most treasures psalms of all, and for good reason. It speaks of believers as sheep being led by their Good Shepherd, who is Christ the Lord. David wrote the psalm, and it helps to know that because we know a lot about David's life. He was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He was blessed, but he knew much pain.

As our world is currently enveloped in the fear of death from Covid-19, and gloomy cloud of despair hangs over us, it is assuring to know that as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we need not fear evil, "for Thou art with me."
